Faith Sharing Groups for Lent

Saint Martha Parish is inviting everyone to invest their hearts into Lent this year by joining a small faith-sharing group for the six weeks of Lent.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to grow your faith with foldks you know by sharing your thoughts and prayers on the Sunday readings.  There will be guide pamphlets for everyone that participates with all the material included.  We ask that you gather folks around you (5-6 people) and find a home setting in which you can meet and hold your sharing groups.  We will be looking for hosts and group leaders.  Sr. Catherine and Katie Honsberger will be very happy to prepare and guide the small group leaders.  If you have any questions, please call the Religious Education office at 685-2546.  May your hearts be ever merry in the Lord!

OLBS School

As part of the Diocese of Buffalo's Revitalization plan for Catholic Schools, we would like to inform you that Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament School will remain open followng the current school year.  This decision was reached after much thoughtful discussion as well as fact-based determinations by the Diocese.  We understand and respect the process as well as the decision from the Diocese.  We have had a long and proud history of educating this area's youth, and will continue to carry the torch of Catholic education for our area for future years to come.   We also understand that not all schools were able to remain open, and this may be a difficult time for many in our Diocese.  We welcome with open arms all of the students from area schools, and ask that everyone does their best to be inviting to all.

This decision does come with its share of changes as Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament School moves into the future.  At this point, we do not know exactly what those changes will be, but as we move through this process we will rely on the Diocese, and pass any and all information on to you as we learn it.

We would like to invite the families to be patient and work with us in this next step in Catholic education.  Your dedication to Catholic schools is very important for the future of the St. Martha Parish Community.

We will update you all as much as possible in the coming days, weeks, and months.  Anyone with any questions and concerns can reach out to our school at 685-2544 or the Diocese at 847-5520.
